Comics out this week;


The ever-so favourite gang from Doom Patrol are back with their new ongoing series. This band of off-beat super heroes have brought those robot guys to mix to join them on their uncanny adventures. Also as a bonus this comic will feature new adventures of Metal Men - a great two-for-one deal! Written by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis; Art by Matthew Clark and Kevin Maguire.


Staring in Transformers; Tyrese Gibsons is known for his singing/song writing, modeling, acting and now you can add comic book writer to the fortay. Tyrese's action-packed Mayhem is a new three-part mini-series that is based in the mean streets of L.A. The vigilante Mayhem is a modern-day "Robin Hood" who steals from crime bosses to fund his campaign against crime. Teaming-up with Mayhem is the sexy and deadly Malice who seek to take-down "Big X", a crime king pin. Written by Tyrese Gibson, Mike Le & William Wilson; Art by Tone Rodriguez. Mayhem is a cross between the Punisher and Batman.


Trade of the week: Transmetropolitan Vol 3 Year Of The Bastard TPB


Transmet is an created-owned book by Warren Ellis (Astonishing X-men) and Darick Robertson (The Boys), which started in 1997 and ended in 2002.


Finally the book is back in print with this new edition of volume three, now featuring issues #13-18 of the hit series, Spider Jerusalem begins to crumble under the pressure of fame and escapes into a world of bitterness and pills. Armed with only his demented mind, Spider embarks on an adventure of political cynicism, horrific sex and unwelcome celebrity with disastrous results.
