Haunt #1 - New ongoing series from Todd McFarlane and Robert Kirkman;art by Greg Capullo and Ryan Ottley
After spending years raising and honing Spawn, Todd McFarlane was nudged by Robert Kirkman (the man behind The Walking Dead and Invincible) to get back into the art of creating comic book characters. Teaming up, and with the help of famed comic book artists Greg Capullo (Spawn, The Creech) and Ryan Ottley (Invincible), the group have developed Haunt!
Haunt, a fusion of catholic priest Daniel Kilgore and the ghost of his brother Kurt, is a dark and unique character with supernatural powers. Facing Kurt's killers, it is up to Daniel to solve his brother's murder and save the world.
Daniel Kilgore is dragged into his estranged brother Kurt's secret life of murder and espionage... by his ghost. With no training whatsoever, guided by the spirit of his secret-agent brother, Daniel must now solve his brother's murder and save the world--or die trying!
Astonishing X-Men continues with the second story arc of the mind-bending, ongoing series. After being attacked by aliens on a meteor 7.5 million miles from Earth, Abigail Brand (director of S.W.O.R.D.) is careening towards Earth in the cockpit of a damaged space ship. She's been in a lot of sticky situations before, but nothing like this. It's time to call the X-Men. Written by Warren Ellis with art by Phil Jimenez.
If you've never read Daredevil before, now's the time to start. As Andy Diggle ( and Roberto De la Torre begin their run on Daredevil, Matt Murdock finds himself in the hardest place he's ever been in before. It is the beginning of a radically different chapter of the life of the man without fear.
