The List Avengers; Written by Brian Michael Bendis; Marko Djurdjevic

Don't miss 'The List' as Norman Osborn puts into play a plan that will bring about some of the darkest moments of Marvel's Dark Reign event. Follow the Iron Patriot as he goes to extreme measures to fulfil his insane ambition, writing a list composed of all the things that stand between him and complete control of the world of Marvel.

'The List', a series of 8 issue one-shots, has been written by some of the biggest names in comics and contains art from some of Marvel's most noteworthy. This issue follows the Avengers, and has been written by Brian Michael Bendis (Dark Avengers, New Avengers) and features art by Marko Djurdjevic (Thor, Wolverine Weopon X).

In this first in a series of spectacular one-shots, the finest writers working at Marvel are teamed up with the most sensational artists to unveil the darkest chapters in the Dark Reign! Norman Osborn, fresh from the shocking finale of Utopia, sets his sights on the rest of the Marvel Universe. He sits down and makes a list. A list of things that are wrong with the world. Things that he needs to take care of. And the list includes almost every major player in the Marvel Universe.

These specials are exciting game changers for all of Marvel Comics and represent the finest talents. This first chapter has a startling confrontation between members of the New Avengers and Dark Avengers. Clint Barton fans... you are not going to want to miss this one!

Other comics out this week

Mark Miller (Fantastic Four, Wolverine) and John Romita Jr (The Amazing Spider-Man, World War Hulk) continue their foul mouthed super hero saga with Kick Ass #7. Dave Lizewski has been through a lot since he chose to wear the costume of a super hero, but none of it compares to tonight. If you're into comics that start where others draw the line, then 'Kick Ass' is the comic for you.

Once Captain America's sidekick, Rikki Barnes is now homeless, jobless and without an identity. The Captain America she knew is dead, and now she is alone in the world. This, however, does not mean she's helpless! In the Nomad: Girl Without A World mini-series, follow Rikki as she acts upon plans to track down the new Captain America and run afoul a secret empire! Written by Sean McKeever (Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane) with art by David Baldeon (Marvel Adventures Super Heroes).

Can anyone escape the horrors of the Black Lanterns? The answer is no, but that doesn't mean the caped crusader and his sidekick Red Robin won't try to stop them at all costs. The Blackest Night Batman 3-part mini-series continues with issue #2, written by Peter J. Tomasi (Green Lantern Corps, The Mighty) with art by up-comer Adrian Syaf. Is it too soon for the new Batman to join his predecessor in the grave?
