Counterside Noise

Ain't so friendly neighbourhood

Staff picks

From the looks of Jaime Pressly swinging a contortion as she fly kicks through the air, DOA: Dead Or Alive looks classy and nothing like Tekken. Never played the game before, and from what memory serves, was basically about volleyball and being sent large image files from other players with creative screen caps of it.

Looks like Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #12 might be a good point to step off and call it a match. Word is that with the series not really looking that crash hot, it's about time to cut the unread and move to other titles or even companies.

Such as the promising look of Cross Bronx #1 from Mike Oeming. Wary of this though, the cover image mentions something about "four issues monthly." Doesn't feel good with that year long DC Comics project, can't see it being too convincing in any other field.

(In it for a second, but it's an easy call on the voice and quick glimpse of Sarah Carter in the ads for the movie.)

Counterside Noise shoots trash talk, staff picks and anything else comics related and not so from the loins of the Comic Shop in Liverpool.

A place to pick up busts, statues, Simpsons toys, Transformers, T-shirts, action figures and anime as well as a place to find some storage and collecting needs.

Don't get ahead of yourself or you'll forget about the comics.

Speaking of which, wonder what's coming in this week?
