May 4 sees the release of
Mission: Impossible 3, the second sequel in the
Mission: Impossible franchise. And yes, that Tom Cruise will be back again as Ethan Hunt. All good really. Real good. Except for those doves coming out of nowhere all the time and the ripping off of their faces in the second one. Well overdone that was. Really baked.
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #8, Weiringo is back on this again, right? Any way, looks like the least depressing of all the Spider-Man comics out there.
And
Ultimate Spider-Man #94 seems depressing and feels like it for a while now. Sure, the kid's got problems, but does he do anything in a straight line any more?
At least
Archie And Friends #100 will bring in some offbeat action.

Weeks now only from the release of
X-Men 3: The Last Stand. New characters such as Callisto, Angel and Beast make it in. In with them is Juggernaut played by Vinnie Jones. A smashing breakthrough of walls in the trailers.
So much so that the idea of running through walls and looking like an English bloke all seem so much
like pleasuring yourself.

Work now is on the sourcing of faces, masks and logos to be blown up large for the new store location.
One with plenty of windows and wall space for the slap of the posters and logo emblems mighty huge for the bat signal down into George Street of Liverpool.
Idea on working with a mural set up sketchy, a deal on the overlapping one figure in the line up. A cavalcade of faces, or of biceps and ankles, no solid picture comes to mind.
Looking to locals for the handiwork is out of the question at the moment. And likely out for the run.

What's so good about April 27? A day where nothing really happens in the box, or on the order. A day in which though comics might come into the store, they won't be joining the rest of the pile.
It's scary how big the pile is getting now. Stacks of some getting lost under others and some even turning up a year later. Not quite the ride of decompression.
Having given up on the slow read,
Astonishing X-Men #14 is off the list as well as subsequent issues from the title. It might just be time around the corner for another X-Men movie after all.

Pages from the backs of magazines. Back issue comics found for less than a dollar or even as cheap as fifty cents. Slithers from other collages in publications. Leave it up with some blank space on the walls and the result varies...

There are at least sixty-six different clippings to spot in the photo alone. All this on the chance of capturing a dusty old cobweb linking from one corner of of the ceiling to another.

Contents of the Spider-Man Backpack Bag
showbag at the Royal Easter Show at Olympic Park spill out as thus:
- 1 Spiderman Spatter Ball and Catcher $6.95
- 1 Spiderman 2" YoYo $1.95
- 1 Spiderman 2" Kickball $1.95
- 1 Spiderman 6.5" Doll $7.95
- 1 Spiderman Hi Bounce Ball $2.95
- 1 Choice of: Spiderman Backpack or 9" Regulation Basketball $16.95
All with a supposed total retail value of $38.70 against the stall prices of $20.
This, like everything else at the show, does not include anything edible for that price point. The splat balls in the balls and catcher set are just too gelatinous to make any real meal out of. Considering that Chinatown sells croquettes for a rate of $1.70, that's some tough chewing. Of course, there may be cheaper croquettes to be had, but thems paths be crossed by other people.
Add to this the paralysed state of the Spider-Man doll and the locked in string of the super light weight yoyo, and there really isn't much to get out of this. The footsack and the bounceball are perhaps the only two redeeming features of the entire showbag from an entertainment stand point.
Still, the look of Spider-Man frozen in that one pose does look good despite not being good to play with. Much like the state of action figures from McFarlane Toys actually.
