For the lovers of goth, tragedy and mysticism, The Crow is all that and a bag of sorrow.

Too quick settling on a single alias for working behind the counter. Now, instead of the random pickings of various characters and artists working on the multitude of comics out on the shelves, it's a Hank. Now, thinking about it, Sonic would have been a better fit. At least it's closer in name than Hank ever could be. So, no more Connor, no Brubaker, no Frank or Ed. Damn the noise.

Nipples need stringing up? Nipples strong enough to hook anchor for ropes and vines in the first place? Well, in this issue of
Tarot, that's just what's happening on pretty much every page. Throw in all manner of quick fire euphemisms for pleasuring the vagina and it's a comic that knows how to play it up. Not entirely much on a solid and endearing plot, but that's not what this comic is there for. It's fun, rather light on logic and moves at a quick pace.

December 22 and after that one more week before the end is so very here. One more shipping list before the roll over into 2006, that is if they don't keep pushing this and the next back a few. Those damned passenger concerns. Priorities and all that.
So many comics hitting the shelves and so many not that shout-out-and-burn-the-crotch interesting. (That may be some other condition totally unrelated to comics.)
Anyway, enough talk of that region. Best thing coming in for the week?
BTVS Angel 21 inch Angel Puppet plush. Swoon. Ever seen the "Smile Time" episode of
Angel? No? Well, it's like the Boreanaz getting his muppet on and spending the entire episode like that. For those who don't mind the junkies thinking you're carry a real muppet inside.

What exactly are the reasons behind the "staff picks" down the
shipping list every week? Depends. Largely on who's picking it out and what they're looking at in terms of what interests them and their storage space at home.
Reasons why they picked a comic or two for that week might be because of a story line that they're getting into. Or a character they want to see more. Even a title that sparks their fancy from the mere mention of the concept alone. Who knows?
They do, and if they so choose to impart their reasons on the site, you'll read it here. Otherwise, it's a matter of walking in the shop and quizzing them on their picks. It's not hard, we're a friendly bunch, so don't be afraid to chew the fat about why a comic is worth your time.
Flavour to taste, with results varying wildly between the many.
