Take a note and roll with it. Ten days now into the new black cracking model cash register and it's all la-di-da-a-go-go. From the vision below, it's true, there are receipts that come spitting out the spooling roll in this version. Not like the previous version didn't, it did, but only on command.
Now, it's all nicely done with details and stats on the Comic Shop: opening hours, URL and a cut and break down on the things in the bag. Generalised of course.
Not really a big demand out there to know each and every comic what makes it into the budget. Far easier to handle when it's a glob and the reading pleasure sets in like a block of chocolate between the holes in the watermelon.

Last week, in the fit of quiet of the early morning, the long standing cash register finally hung it up. Thirteen years, from the first days back at the previous location and a good run in the new.
Was not without some fight left in it though. The needle nose work and jabbing of screwdrivers, metal rules and sticky tape all over the scene just a bit into the whole hope of salvation.
Sadly, every thing to its own has to call in at lunch one day.
Serving the interim between the old and the new, the register what made an appearance at the showing last year at Supanova. A small number, it's now sitting back on the benches with a new, black model taking up the post.

Eagle eye and casual glance observers walking into the place to be over the last round of weeks will have noted the
Ghost Rider poster on their way in.
With the landing of the box from Sony promotions, the tale unfolds a little more.
One side of the giveaway involves the passes, good for two and the entire run of the film in the cinemas.
And the other half are all about the posters that can be seen underneath in the photo above. Strange thing on the back about an online magazine,
Don't Panic.
Sniff the poster if you get the chance. Really smells something smashing fantastic. Nostril approach may vary.

Twenty and more years on and Tony Montana still generates quite the fan base. Squatting action figures, foul-mouthed action figures and bobble heads with a dinky tommy gun in hand.
Wouldn't it just be remiss to not have a comic of such? Yes, it partly would.
I am interested in the ordering the scarface comics, can you let me know if or when they will be available and the price. thank you
Scarface: Scarred for Life #1 from IDW Publishing, came out on the first week of January and is on the shelf.
Monthly for the six issue miniseries, its US cover price is $3.99 which is $7.45 converted in Australian.

For your creepy consideration:
Just wondering if you have any original Gold Key series Twilight Zone comics in stock. Also chasing original or re-issue Tales From The Crypt and Crime Suspense Stories.
No go on the
Twilight Zone comics from Gold Key. Thems be nowhere to be seen in the store shelves or in the back issue bins. A truly hard-to-find find, so keep that in mind.
Bit of an upper on the latter titles,
Tales From The Crypt and
Crime SuspenStories.
At least, from first glance racking. Release of those collected editions are in stock. No idea what the paper smells like, though they're bound to be fresh given their reprint status.
Who doesn't like the smell of comics?

Christmas Day is here and it's where all the snow that's fit to fake is so fake that it doesn't even exist. Unlike the situation
around certain parts of Australia.
Regular stoppers-by by the Comic Shop (aka "The place to really be") will no doubt recognise Homer Santa, or Santa Homer, who greets the peeps on the way in and out.
Previously, in years previous, his station was burning up a wind storm of inflated existence in the shop window. His current position has got to be a far better deal for him.
Merry Christmas from
the Comic Shop.
