Captain America flavoured tag-o-muffin servings
Anything and nothing and everything in between with tangents or topics on the subject of Captain America .
For other things to take your fancy, there are other tags.
Skipping the reference to
Walt Whitman and jumping right into the wet of scattered scales.
About a week after the fallout and boy, the flushing rush of media hype and spoiler dams breaking at the seams was/is intense. All for
Captain America #25, a particularly interesting issue it seems. Well, for those that managed to actually read it and not have it read out for them.
do you guys have captain america #25 available to purchase if so what is the price?
Well, not at the moment. Plum suckered dry by the afternoon of last week when it hit out on the first round. Madness, and when was the last time an issue at #25 managed to clear before the doors were closed for the day? Can't remember.
Shocking really, at the speed of its legs. Hopefully, in the next week or so, if there are any left at Diamond, the stock will rise up a little for those still hanging on to own a copy to read themselves.
Speculators beware, them hangnails really do drag down the boat of rats.
Something like what happened to Captain America manages to bring out people not otherwise seen in the realm.
Because of today's terrible tragedy, I'm going to extend the free offer of my Accelerated Battlefield Combatives hand-to-hand combat learning system until my friend is put to rest.
Takes a mighty clued-in spammer to tie in the events of a Marvel Comic to their shady product.

May 12 is another one of those Thursdays that will see some writing work push the limits of sanity. Real tests of mettle will bear a carcass of a skull on the Friday morning that follows it. Be sure of something, be sure of that...
Captain America And The Falcon #14 closes out another series penned by the
almighty Priest. Since this is part two of a two-part story, there isn't any point in picking this one up outside of tasting what has been a fantastic ride with Captain America, the Falcon and the Anti-Cap. Enjoy it while the wait beckons for the next title to be given no fanfare.
Harry Osborn must be the Hobgoblin by now in
Ultimate Spider-Man #77. Last issue read was #74, and things seriously looked like they were going that way. Petulant punk.
Astonishing X-Men #10 must have also dealt with the Danger Room problem by now. That thing was starting to get ahead of itself by #8. Jumping back into the pile soon.
If past experiences in reading has shown anything,
Freedom Force #4 will be as crazy as the three that preceded it. Real crazy. Like, WTF kind.
But the pick for this week that isn't already being taken down features the Man with the Chin, Bruce Campbell in
Man With The Screaming Brain #1. If the title isn't an indication of what it could be, then it is a fine and deceptive title isn't it?

So, on with the stuff coming on March 3:
Legend #1 and Seventh Shrine #1 both look good enough to pick up. Why? Just because they're number ones with no previous runs (as far as the memory will recall). Chaykin on one, Robert Silverberg on the other. Here's to something else.
Casefiles: Sam and Twitch #14 might be a pick only if it was sort of like in line with #13. That issue was all about Sam, his brother and their relationship. Fragile at that. Was a good read, but still unsure if that was right.
Ultimate Ironman #1 looks like it might have foil. Foil covers, how long has it been since one of those? Not long enough. Starting to feel no inkling toward just grabbing Ulimate line titles on the sheer power of the universe alone. Maybe.
Captain America and The Falcon #13 is the penultimate issue. After this there's no more fun and head work, gone is another fine buddy book from Priest. Here's hoping the art by Dan Fraga holds up well following the stint from Bennett. Squirmy art at a lie.
Ultimate Spider-man #73 is three issues away from the current read pile. What the hell was that Doctor Strange thing all about?

For those around Sydney CBD, Manly, Bondi and the Inner West, the newest
LAST issue is out. Check on page 18 and you'll sort yourself out for the pick of the crop harvested across the spectrum of 2004. Ten comics all up, but if you're really counting, just over half are still around.
She-Hulk, Mitchell Hundred, Bone and Cerebus make the list. There's also Plastic Man and Conan. A tough call to make, their values judging themselves. Blew the brains out trying to make this one, the task far harder than first considered. Wow, the work involved. It pains.
Sydney based writer, Jason Rand is there for the Australian connection -- there's
that Small Gods comic from Image Comics he's got under his pen.
Rest of the magazine is into that Valentine skin. Check it out. It's free, though you might not believe that entirely. You have six days left.
(This week's picks for February 10 are already holding space on the standing order.
Doc Frankenstein and
Captain America and the Falcon aren't that similar. But they sure do pack in some fun and intriguing schematics.)
