Spinning like a Catherine wheel

Shop talk

Skipping the reference to Walt Whitman and jumping right into the wet of scattered scales.

About a week after the fallout and boy, the flushing rush of media hype and spoiler dams breaking at the seams was/is intense. All for Captain America #25, a particularly interesting issue it seems. Well, for those that managed to actually read it and not have it read out for them.

do you guys have captain america #25 available to purchase if so what is the price?

Well, not at the moment. Plum suckered dry by the afternoon of last week when it hit out on the first round. Madness, and when was the last time an issue at #25 managed to clear before the doors were closed for the day? Can't remember.

Iron Man wakes up to hear the latest news on Captain America

Shocking really, at the speed of its legs. Hopefully, in the next week or so, if there are any left at Diamond, the stock will rise up a little for those still hanging on to own a copy to read themselves.

Speculators beware, them hangnails really do drag down the boat of rats.

Something like what happened to Captain America manages to bring out people not otherwise seen in the realm.

Because of today's terrible tragedy, I'm going to extend the free offer of my Accelerated Battlefield Combatives hand-to-hand combat learning system until my friend is put to rest.

Takes a mighty clued-in spammer to tie in the events of a Marvel Comic to their shady product.

Charcoal to the face is as warm as milk in the ear

Shop talk

Evidenced by a note last week in the Comic Books section of Journalista, all these reviews aren't exactly meant for the clear felling of opinion and spoiling the comics.

After all, that's what all those other sites are about.

No, this place is all about spoiling the concept of semantic sentence structure. Lofty ideals indeed.

Civil War #4 - Marvel Comics

Reviews

Month long delay and reading this issue, didn't seem like they had missed a step. Having not read any of the other parts of the war in seven parts notwithstanding. And so the journey to blowing up more chunks of flesh and battle ideologues continues apace.

A brutal turn of events that seems so casual and expectedly unexpected. Like something that was bound to happen, only it took this long for it to do so. Knowing more on the history certainly wouldn't hurt things, but only as an added benefit to the whole flippant nature of it all.

Rubbing a cool chipped chunk of pebble across the face, the warmth of this issue cannot be denied. It's cold, harsh and the war certainly has the feeling of the unknown. Making sure of the unsure while being unsure of even the solid things.

No escaping the Civil War

Shop talk

Apparently there is no respect for spoilers when the masses chew their newspapers and listen knuckle skulled to the wireless. There's some rush on the storyline with Civil War taking a heavy dose of diuretics that watches it run every chance it gets out the door.

Not seeing it last long enough on the shelves isn't the bad part.

Days in recent past were bad for Marvel zombies. Especially of those who grey their fingers with the newspaper or listen to the voices coming from the radio. The NY Post was kind enough to read ahead on the issue in question and write up the moment of concern. And then the reports hit other newspapers, and even MX in Sydney. News of this event were also being heard on the radio according to one customer.

Spillage of the flashbulb kicking questions on Civil War #2 has blown like a back door after a night of too much chilli con carne at the local steak house.

Stinks to high heaven really. And you can't plug that one up easy.
