Visions green of splendour and time slips

The Multiverse

Oh, for what leaves the eyes in such a state as to feel the green radioactive ooze pooling out from the sockets?

Vat are you looking at, blind boy?

Certainly not keeping regular daylight hours helps a lot. A whole barrel load of good apparently comes from working in the same time zone as the people what stand in the same room. And when one time zone steps out of another and runs for weeks and months, there's the possibility that the red will make green.

Outside possibility with a boon of drinking heavy of green drink (as others drink purple and grape).

Sidekicks for parrots and pirates

Staff picks

It's the new start of another financial year and the money pinching begins anew. Watch out for making with the donations to charity. They won't come good for at least a year yet now. July 6 is where it kicks off and in the cinemas sees the opening of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Devi #1 is the new comic from new boy Virgin Comics. Cursory at the moment, doubtful on picking this one up.

Sidekick #1 on the other hand, first of a five part miniseries, comes from Paul Jenkins. It's a tongue-in-cheek view of the world of sidekicks to the major super heroes. Of course, why anyone would go around with their tongue flapping their cheeks is cause for contortionist celebration.

Oh, the other cheek?

Ripping it right off

The Multiverse

For just the month of May this year, Devil's Due Publishing are running a free comic book promotion. Only catch is, you have to rip off the cover of a recent comic from either Marvel or DC.

Sounds interesting and rather costly for the slightly curious. The sheer act of having to deface a comic in the first place notwithstanding, it's an intriguing promo. One that may very well only be worth seeing what kind of stationary/envelope the comic from the horned ones comes in.

At least there'll be something to look forward to. Even if the incoming comic turns out to be as iffy as the outgoing.

Now, to work out which comic will fall down in the act of playing this game...
