Photos flavoured tag-o-muffin servings
Anything and nothing and everything in between with tangents or topics on the subject of Photos.
For other things to take your fancy, there are other tags.
From Kotobukiya and the Dark Horse people, little boxes filled with Robocop mini models. (Though models are small by nature, otherwise they'd be full-scale.)
Robocop Mk II, the kind of law enforcement getting high on nuke every chance it can.

Tom Cruise ain't looking outside the walls into the world much these days. Not since the birth of Suri with Katie Holmes holed up in some bunker. And yet they still make much on the covers of the women's magazines.
Dip it in red, it's the Lord of Darkness from the film,
Legend. The one starring Cruise, Mia Sara and Tim Curry.

Just shy of a week now before the Comic Shop strips the covers off and opens up large with the Phoenix reborn and moving sale at the end of this month.
Back and forth from 207 to 10a/170,
the statues,
Simpsons,
busts and other merchandise take the walk along George Street. Nice smell if you can dig it, and if you can dig, won't you tell the asthmatics how?
Note the black lines in the lower half of the photo. That right thar be the back issue bins, or swimming pool, depending on how you like to look at things like this.
Beats the previous one by more than a triple. Quadruple perhaps?
See for yourself when the doors open up soon enough.

Ever since finding a box with a
V for Vendetta mask inside, it's been the custom to wear the sucker all during the shift.
On a cold day things can be fine and it keeps the face warm. On a slight temperature shift, it's when the mop comes out and the need to wipe it down like a heavy dog.
And then there are times shortly after eating mustard sauce. In which case, things start to stink of a
wooden face.

All in the Marvel Universe should by now know the true identity of Spider-Man as being that of Peter Parker. One person who knew a long, long time ago is Mary Jane Watson. Now married to the web slinger, she had much of her face behind a lampshade until the whole Gwen thing cleared up the dating stakes.
From
Bowen Designs, made into a wallpaper. MJ slinging it cool and with Spidey's mask in her hand. Who wears the tighter clothes in their family?

Less than a month now until the move from 207 to 170 and right next to the library is complete. Here's a sneak peek into the new digs.
Obviously there isn't much to see in terms of comics, statues or busts. They're still making the journey in little tubs that make the arms weak and fingertips quiver.
But, from the lay of the tape on the carpet, them's going to be deep back issue bins to dive into. Sweet glass along the lines are for the statues, busts and all that other crazy merchandise that sets back a wallet into the field of money clips.

Play it loud, play it very loud. Neil Diamond,
Kamahl, Elvis and ABBA, flying from the lock box of the annual trivia night at Guildford Bowling and Recreation Club.
Taking the reigns of the night, Pop Heads Music Quiz -
The Vinyl Years. Blaring the stereo and taking their sweet time staring at the clock and not ever quite sure of what time it was.
Songs, instantly recognisable tunes and melodies, all encompassing the decades where the 33 and 78 ruled the airwaves and record players. Anyone caught under the age of 30 flopping about with questions that really tested the depths of the liner notes and
Countdown trivia.
No table walked away empty handed at the end of the night, all covered in questionable DVDs, CDs and prizes or grabs from the silent auction. Score for Tom who bid on and won a chair for two whole dollars.
Fifty cents over really.

And there comes a time when there's a need for the comics to hit it out on the town themselves...
On the side of the van you'll note Spider-Man, Hulk, Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. Groovy and them rims aren't too shabby shiny, eh?
Thanks to Delvac for snapping the shot of the shop's spanking new rock boat.

Running about the place in the winter time leaves the ears ripping raw for some. And there are others who just don't have that problem at all and ever.
Rather simple and clean, this photo was taken in August 2005 at Martin Place in Sydney during the on location filming of
Superman Returns. In the actual film, it appears for a brief second as Kitty Kowalski (Parker Posey) drives a mustang that is careening all out of hell.
Early on for the night, it was placed up on and over a "For Lease" sign for the building. Nobody else took much notice of it, the crowds heading home more concerned with the ever expanding line for the taping off of Martin Place than any thing else. Shortly after taking this photo, it was all cordoned off.
