Mighty temptations

Staff picks

March 23, let's see if it's another week inside the house, free from having to look at the sun and step off site, across the line of the boundary.

Billy West came out with the news that there was new FUTURAMA. Then later retracted that statement on account of not having all the right news and information. But the DVD movies are still going ahead. And at the very least, there's still Futurama Comics #24. A comic that looks like it was on 22 for three consecutive issues.

Sonic The Hedgehog #160 looks mighty tempting. But who knows where the relationships are at this point. That little hussy of a community seems to be getting a little too busy with itself, all them furries running naked and all.

Ready on the taxidermy

Staff picks

Opening at the Seymour Centre on September 22, the Australian premiere of National Security and the Art of Taxidermy. One week later, the public gets their eyeballs on Serenity

So then it's surprising to note that Serenity #3 is again on the shipping list. How many can there be a need for? Any way, at least those that missed out on the first shipping half will get another chance at the conclusion of the mini.

Sonic X #1, a four-part mini that could lead into an ongoing, looks interesting. It really does. What won't be interesting is, if after reading the first issue, there's nothing there. Like that flat #150 from the regular flavoured Sonic comic.

Zombie action

Reviews

Zombie King #0 (Image) - If you can find it, get it. First few pages are worth it alone. Best see for yourself why it's so funny. Or not so. That cow just would never have been right no matter what happened after that encounter.

Action Philosophers! #1 (Evil Twin) - So you have learning and comics. But deep learning, stuff the English teacher or History teacher would love to go on and on about. Thought, deep mental processing, and funky line work.

Sonic The Hedgehog #150 (Archie Comics) - Coming in half way, the story already takes place. And damn, that Sonic is one helluva playa with the ladies. Oh, wait... right.
