Known to render bots in an altogether new disguise as it transforms them, the Matrix of Leadership has had many owners and very few masters.

From Optimus Prime to Rodimus Prime and Megatron to Ultra Magnus, its affects varies to the amount of time in its presence as well as the overall structure of the bearer.

Still, as mysterious as it is, there can be no doubt that the appeal and power is so alluring as to convert non-believers into followers of the truth.

Devestator devestated at devestation

Decepticons gestalt, Devestator, was shocked and dismayed when presented at a construction site. Reportedly, the green and purple robot was dismayed that destruction and demolition had occurred without his involvement.

Formed of Constructicons Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Hook and Long Haul, the building master was on a holiday when coming across the scene of rubble and decimation.

Devastator was later seen ploughing down a city block in an attempt to consol himself and not miss out on another smash and dash.

Are the 80s over? Yes. Just like yesterday and the day before. That's the deal with history, it passes, it fades, and in some turns, it retrofits itself into the present.

Be on the look out for the upcoming live action Transformers movie as directed by Michael Bay.

Word is that the familiar shapes known to many generations will reform again into new designs for Autobots and Decepticons alike.

The 80s may be over, but it's still a glorious decade.

Screaming through the skies toward the stars

Shoeless passengers with overgrown fingernails litter the cabins of planes taking off every day in this post-September 11 world. Fear of crumbling buildings under the weight of wayward planes crashing into their sides doing much harm in the confidence of the public.

Jet packing rough riders hell bent on executing elaborate aerial trick shows have an even harder time. Those taking too close to buildings likely to be shot down.

Starscream -- currently at rest on a stick in a most uncomfortable insertion point, and a long time frequent flyer -- is excited about the prospect of earning some space travelling money. Opening up the frontier of space, ventures such as SpaceShipOne and Virgin Galactic are prepping the world for a flux into sub-orbital space travel.

With more and more of the world's feral airspace being hotly contested as "no go zones" and large skyscrapers holding back the glass, space tourism may very well be where planes such as Starscream are headed.
