Food fat and all the jelly you find when you're in the sauce of chicken might serve well. Might feel way greasy after a while though. And not the best for those who are looking to sweat much. Unless tasting food sweat is your thing. Which it might be, that's an individual prerogative.

Super hold hair spray or product comes nowhere close to the grip and tightness oozing from a double colon squirt of epoxy resin. Or the squibs of super glue. That stuff will do a holding wonder like bubble gum under a warm seat.

Dog biscuits look so enticing don't they? Nicely shaped with a crunch that looks like it delivers a solid chomp. Even available in varieties where chewing and eating on these canine gut destined foods and such will clean the teeth. And what about those with the jerky?

Taking a bag of dog food to snack on at some sporting event, or even that of the cinema, not so enticing after all. Especially taste wise. And there is never enough cat food around to wash out the flavour of chowing down into a handful of dog biscuits on hand.

Wonder what then was in those Scooby snacks that Shaggy and his pal Scooby Doo were always mowing down.

Feed a dog any kind of dog food made for them and they should be right, in moderation. But some chocolate on that and watch them go to the vet. It's like watching them eat a pool of coins, shiny and coated in their own sort of evil. Unlike popping the coins into a Scooby Doo bobble bank. Do that and wait for what comes out the other side. No gloves needed.

 

Not duck season? Why, it's never not duck season.

The quack of the crackers on the dinner table. Where the chicken and the turkey have come and done years and years many more. The possibly juicy fowl is there for the biting and taking.

An optional choice for those who seek not to have a seafood feast these coming days and weeks. And a mighty serving to turn over the tide of other feathery plates that may offer their beaks for your stomach's service.

Certainly not a contender for the main in the house or set of the vegan and vegetarian. Their lot steering away from the buffet that consists of meat and flesh from animals galore.

So is the hope of Daffy Duck and many of his feathered friends. After all, have you tried eating a full meal with duck as the side? It's hardly a thing, skin and bones and lots of fat for they are a lean creature. What helps them float makes them sink in terms of chunkiness.

 

What? Well, the cream of Australian music is what. On at Sydney Olympic Park for the ever logistically, unarithmetically awkward sales scoring system that is the ARIA Awards. 20th annual that is, and one for the books.

Which is going to be nice background music for those otherwise nearby at Supanova on that Sunday. Of course, it's not on just that Sunday. Preaking in on the Friday night before swinging full for the Saturday and close on Sunday.

Keep in mind a few things if you head out for the con:

• Pack a lunch - Flicking through the promos, flyers and pieces of other paper in the entry show bag may be nice for a few seconds. None of that's going to be edible though. And for those who are not fans of Maccas, there's the high prices of what food box they do wheel out.
• Wear comfy shoes - Bound to be a lot of walking on the day. With Supanova being out in the far wilds of Sydney Olympic Park, stick an elephant in there as the distances are going to be far and wide. And with lines for signings and shuffling past the cosplayers, it's tread time all day long.
• Bring a towel - Oh, this one isn't about H2G2. It's about the possible stench that you invariably find wafting in such a gathering of people who are so focused on their hobby all else is sacrificed. But why washing with soap? Anyway, with a towel you could wrap your lower face and stem the odours jamming up your throat and nose.

Choppers like carrots wouldn't believe, it's Bugs Bunny at the baseball against the Gorillas from the classic "Baseball Bugs" episode of Looney Tunes.

Seventh inning, bases partially loaded and the wick of sweat rides the seams of the ball in the pitcher's glove. Night time and the sun is still out. Pitcher cranks it back, eyeing the third and second. The pitch and the batter swings. A screwball coming out of a fast and it connects... up, up and away...

Of course, if it happens that the ball smacks back a line into the mouth of the pitcher, that could leave a very bad smile in no time. Knocking it out of the park or knocking the teeth of the mouth... with teeth like Bugs, it's a hazard to play any game where the teeth are out in front.

In case of emergency, and if the teeth are out of the pocket by looseness or being broken, it's a vital step that the tooth in question remains moist. Drop it in a glass of milk, water or carry it to the dentist inside the cheeks. Of the mouth. Remember that it's important to not let it dry out.

 

Dark and cynical, quirky and strange, Invader Zim is the brain gloop of Jhonen Vasquez, creator of other such wicked manifestations such as Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee.

A member of the Irken species of alien, Zim is assigned to conquer the lowly planet we all know and abuse as Earth. Who knows if the plans and constant attempts ever amount to anything.

Suspicious and dubious endings will leave such an opening for interpretation.
