Freddy Krueger never dies. The man only rests around waiting for new teenagers to fall asleep and into his realm of nightmares and facing off against a man with a stuffy looking sweater. Red and black wool with all that dry air? Surely that must itch.

On the heels of the new DVD Special Edition of A Nightmare on Elm Street comes a terrifying new series! From the twisted mind of Chuck Dixon (NIGHTWING, CLAW) and artist Kevin West comes a fresh look at one of the most frightening horror icons of all time: Freddy Krueger!

A new family has moved to the quiet town of Springwood and when night falls, the town quickly learn its horrible secret! Will this new family survive a new nightmare on Elm Street? Or can the tables be turned in the monstrous dream realm?

Nightmare On Elm Street #1 from Wildstorm Comics

From Vertigo, Brian K. Vaughan, Pia Guerra and Jose Marzan, Jr. reveal the mystery behind the wiping out of every man in the world with Y The Last Man #50. Every man save for Yorick Brown that is.

A bloke nicks off with Hank Pym's Ant-Man suit and thus goes helping himself out as the Irredeemable Ant-Man. From Marvel Comics with Robert Kirkman, Phil Hester and Ande Parks watching as tiny mischief ensues.

Out of Marvel's Icon with a kick to the side, Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips go Criminal. Double takes, misty rooms and a whole world of paranoia and watching the game of crooks and the crooked.

Goth dolls go on walkabout with Bleeding Edge Goths: The Hypnotic Gaze. Leading the story, Fiona heads into the French Goth underground with two other stories happening in the background. Black and white make-up from BeGoths Comics with Steve Varner and Gene Gonzalez.

Brian K. Vaughan, Marcos Martin and Alvaro Lopez swing the spells with Marvel Comic's sorcerer supreme in Doctor Strange: The Oath. Five parts to the tale of a mystery which Strange must figure out. After all, it is his death he's investigating.

Peter Steigerwald, Khari Evans, Vince Hernandez and Beth Sotelo jump in the waters when they make a splash in Aspen Seasons: Summer 2006. Various stories around the Aspen crew.

The highs, the lows, four clicks to the right and it's The Vault Of Michael Allred. A collection of brain matter splatter of the Madman creator from AAA Pop Comics.

Jason Aaron and Cameron Stewart take the notes from the sidelines of Vertigo as the bullets whiz overhead. Two side to a bloody coin, five parts to The Other Side. A tale of the Viet Nam war from two foot soldiers, one a US and the other a North Vietnamese.
