Scarface is still riding high more than twenty years after the guns out blazing final scene from the Brian De Palma version of events. And of course, now there's a comic...

When we last saw Cuban exile and Miami gangster Tony Montana, his cocaine-fueled body was riddled with bullets in the 1983 Brian DePalma cinematic classic, Scarface. Now, IDW Publishing proudly presents the second coming of Tony Montana in the sequel to the end-all-be-all of gangster movies with an all-new five-issue comic book miniseries... Scarface: Scarred for Life.

The blood-soaked tale picks up where the movie left off, as Tony Montana survives—you read that right—but just barely. Having lost almost everything—including very nearly his life—Tony must once again claw his way to the top of the sun-drenched Florida underworld. If the odds were stacked against the gangster before, he now stands in the shadow of odds stacked twice as high.

The creative team responsible for the resurrection of Scarface is writer John Layman (Fantastic Four, House of M) and artist Dave Crosland (Hack/Slash: Land of Lost Toys), the demented duo responsible for the wickedly depraved and seriously funny comic series, Puffed.

Scarface: Scarred For Life #1

Tim Seeley and Andrew Wildman say that Bumblebee may still be gone from the series, but that don't mean they're not carting around the crossover again with the GIs and the Bots. G.I. Joe VS Transformers IV: Black Horizon from Devil's Due Publishing splits up the story in two parts and makes way for the movie continuity to run free later this year.

Walk the hitman's talk with Paul Jenkins, David Wohl and Stejpan Sejic taking the route of the first and third person adaptation of the game in The Darkness: Level 1. From Top Cow, they shoot things back to that first day of Jackie becoming one with The Darkness. And Justin Hawkins is still not with the group.

It's Earth today where dinosaurs of the past that hit a ride for space as the planet went into an ice age freeze lock down, return. Time to reclaim a dinosaur friendly home for their own.

War is hell and with zombies, it's the '68. Mark Kidwell, Nat Jones and Jay Fotos hit on the Viet Nam conflict with them flesh biters and brain eaters. Image Comics looks to use only one bullet with this.

Take a little off the top with Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera in Scalped. A Vertigo series in the flux of a crime drama with Native American culture.
