Amazing Spider-Girl #1; written by Tom Defalco with pencils and cover by Ron Frenz
Takes a lot to knock Spider-Man down and the same is true for his daughter, May. In one continuity, she never really existed, but in the MC2 universe, she's alive and well, kicking down the baddies after her pops rested his cogs. They may get knocked down, but they'll get back up and they won't ever be kept down.

"Whatever happened to the daughter of Spider-Man?"

A complete single issue story!

Ever wonder why Spider-Girl fans are the, most vocal, most active comic fans of all? Here's your chance to finally find out! Join us for the start of our second 100 issues as May "Mayday" Parker learns that she can't escape her great responsibilities!

Featuring the original Hobgoblin, the Black Tarantula -- and more!

Amazing Spider-Girl #1 from Marvel Comics

Henry Flint and Andersen Gabrych go down on six through DC Comics with The Omega Men. Where if it feels like the end of the world, then running rampant and causing destruction is all that's called for right? Well, that's what the last remaining Omega Men are doing.

Virgin Comics tell a quaint little family story with John Woo's Seven Brothers. In the mire of fulfilling an ancient prophecy are Garth Ennis and Jeevan Kang. How about that, they even have an Aussie in the brothers line up.

Five parts to the Devil's child and it's Hellstorm: Son Of Satan. From Marvel Comics and, raising (oh, it's being said) hell with Alexander Irvine, Russell Braun and Klaus Janson on fire and brimstone supplies.

Dave Dwonch watches from the chalkboard as a kid with no powers finds himself at a high school where all the kids do have super powers. It's time for some Special Education from National Press Comics.

Dynamite Entertainment bring it on with Highlander. There can be only one, but there are the likes of Brandon Jerwa, Mike Avon Oeming and Lee Moder handling the skills to represent. Slightly off write up voice for this comic. Noted.

Spider-Girl isn't the only return with the veritable feast of them Jim Lee pencils as Wildcats: Worldstorm smacks a dab of the reintroduction of the team. Grant Morrison and Scott Williams flanking the ranks. Whatever that means in this context.

And don't forget a dip of The Authority with Morrison teaming it up with Gene Ha from Wildstorm.
