Black Canary mini bust - Women of the DC Universe - designed by Adam Hughes - sculpted by Jack Mathews - DC Direct
Pitch up them vocal chords, squeeze the cheeks and belt one out. Scream, yell and holla back at the top of your lungs. Or cheat and make it sound like you are.
Sculpted by Jack Mathews from designs by Adam Hughes, this Black Canary
mini bust is part of the "Women of he DC Universe 2" line-up from DC Direct. Comes with bustesque silence as the heroine is poised in a pose of a screaming power punch.
Black Canary can bleed your ears. And there are 3 simple tricks in doing the same.
- Grab an ear - No doubt, the closer you are to the person, the louder you will sound to them. Grabbing one of their ears and talking directly down the hole of wax leaves you sounding a whole lot louder and brings them that little closer to deafness.
- Be an arrogant tourist - Simple rules when visiting a foreign country. If locals can't understand you at first, talk a little slower and a little louder. Makes having to know what the local language is completely moot. Have people think you're an arrogant oil warfaring tourist and you'll come off as loud and abrasive with no trouble at all.
- Talk in the shower - With or without clothes on, all those tiles will echo and reverberate your voice to the point where it picks up at least a level. Leaving the taps off and not flushing helps tremendously too.
Got any tips on making a big sound?

Wonder Woman bust - Women of the DC Universe - designed by Terry Dodson - sculpted by Jack Mathews - DC Direct
And you could possibly lose your head. For a safer option, check out the
DC Direct mini bust instead. Sculpted by Jack Mathews, based on the artwork of Terry Dodson, this Wonder Woman mini bust is part of the "Women of the DC Universe" line-up.
Notice Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman of the Amazons, taking off her glasses with a hand ripping off her own shirt. Preparing to enter a battle as she drops her civvies and into the star-spangled costume with the bracelets and Lasso of Truth.
Fighting against people with glasses and bifocals is for some reason, a no-no. Not just that people who where bifocals are of the older set. It's a thing about hitting someone in the face who wears glasses for vision and not the ones guarding against the sun.
What of the rules about putting on your own pair of glasses to spar up against? Does that then level the playing field? Two bespectacled fighters surely has to be more acceptable than only one side wearing them.
What about fisticuffs etiquette going up against people with contact lenses? Aren't they wearing glasses of a nature? Is that a wrong thing to do as well? That could be way to get out of a lot of scraps. "Don't hit me, I'm wearing glasses. On the inside of my eyelids."
(Not condoning fighting here, just to make that as clear as a handful of sand in the face.)
