Havok mini Bowen bust - Bowen Designs - sculpted by Mark Newman
They often
call him Havok. Mainly because that's his name and Alex Summers doesn't sound as punchy.
Brother of Scott Summers (otherwise known as Cyclops, oft-leader of the X-Men) Havok here is sporting his classic black costume complete with the spiffy head gear. A man of many teammates (X-Factor, Brotherhood,
Mutant X) and of a few timelines.
Havok's costume is the kind you'd like to have if you're into the walking about business in areas populated heavily with swooping magpies and other birds of attack. With the loops looping from the back to the forehead, or from the forehead back, they form a neat little barrier and cage set up.
Any diving birds will have to think twice in that split three cuts of a second lest they end up entangled inside or bounce right off like a pebble across the lake surface.
The unlucky, however, may find that it also makes for a nice nest.

Scorpion statue - Bowen Designs - sculpted by Mark Newman
Summer takes another step closer in the sand. A veritable line drawing like a boy or girl running down the beach dragging a fallen branch. Trails, lines, markers, it's all there for the people to cross and make a stand.
And it's not like Mac Gargan, the old foe of Spider-Man, hasn't been down that path before. Once a man able to take an easy seat in a restaurant, all that gone once slipping into the suit that has made him infamous.
Not because scorpions are rarely green without sprigs of parsley, but because of the rather lengthy tail coming out from the back. Now, of course, Gargan is running rampant with the Venom symbiote and a girl by the
name of Camilla Black is using the Scorpion name.
Which begs a question after listening to the old tale of
the turtle and the scorpion. What is the nature of a being that can change hosts and name tags?
