When not known as the Leader and a constant thorn of Hulk (archenemy even), the man once made his life and walked a stride as Samuel Sterns.
With a mega huge brain, searing brilliant intellect and would-be conqueror of the world complex, it's all mostly as a result of the exposure from radioactive waste. The kind that leaves your skin green, veins constantly bulging and your bones intact.
All for naught, however, when the batteries in the remote die or are just plain missing. Perhaps to swap out the ones in the smoke detector above the smoldering fire place. Maybe they disappeared when the drop-in visitor came around and talked on and on about their holiday only without that bit that makes it interesting. Anything but them.
With all the radioactive power in the world coursing through your veins, a remote without batteries becomes only as good as your aim. And with the buttons on televisions smaller than the days of Pye, clearly it takes a sharpshooter to throw a remote right to change the channel.
Keep working batteries in the remote control lest you find yourself walking back and forth. Not everything is like a Wii.
