Come again like the pizza that serves well into the week, cold and otherwise frozen from the eats. Not too bad on the round again, and why not? It was fun the first time down. Can't it be like that for another down?

A new generation of adventure begins as superstar writer Gail Simone (Birds of Prey, Villains United) and artists Talent Caldwell & Matt "Batt" Banning (Wildcats: Nemesis) join forces to reimagine the classic WildStorm teen team!

The life of a teenager can be a strange enough experience, but when super-powers are added to the mix things get a whole lot more confusing in a hurry!

Meet Caitlin, Sarah, Roxy, Bobby, and Eddie - outcast teenagers from different parts of the country who quickly learn they all have something in common: abilities far beyond those of their classmates!

But what's the secret to these wonderful and scary powers, and what role do the nefarious Tabula Rasa and International Operations play?

Gen13 from Wildstorm Comics.

DC Comics talk Tales Of The Unexpected. An eight take slice of the Spectre with David Lapham, Brian Azzarello, Eric Battle, Prentis Rollins and Cliff Chiang spooking the caves.

Various names, various faces, all in the one place throwing up a cup of mocha in Worldstorm. One shot in the arm from Wildstorm to catch the wave into the crest of others to follow.

Rick Spears and Vasilis Lolos are down with the hang nail crew chopping the waters with the The Pirates Of Coney Island. Image Comics presents itself with a shot of eight on gangs scratching on each other's turfs.

Crazy things abound with Necronomicon Ex Mortis floating about. It's chin against no face as Roger Stern, Kurt Busiek and James Fry get it on in the four part Darkman Vs Army Of Darkness from Dynamite Entertainment. "Klaatu barada nikto!"

Jimmie Robinson returns with the woman of mass destruction, Bomb Queen in a second volume outing from Image Comics.

Back to the start of the book as Bill Willingham, Lan Medina and Steve Leialoha float out Fables #1 Special Edition. From Vertigo, it's a chance for those who missed out to see what the first was all about.

Crossovers unite as Marvel punches the first in a nine part tale of Ultimate Power. Reed Richards rips through the Ultimateverse into the Supremeverse and it looks like the Squadron Supreme ain't all too happy with Mr Fantastic's incursion.

Wrinkles and the mighty roar of the Russian guns

Eddie the Trooper - Iron Maiden head knocker - NECA
Under the monster riff of The Trooper by the almighty Iron Maiden, a tale of the Crimean War. A battle raged between the Russians and the Ottoman Empire.

Bleak and from the vision of a slain soldier, the song is partially based on The Charge of the Light Brigade. A poem by the long dead Alfred Lord Tennyson.

Never mind of course the fact that the Trooper himself looks like the sight of death. Wrinkles and the skin folding over itself like the battle weary effect it can hold.

Much like the inability of performance artist David Blaine to hold his breath for nine brain damaging minutes. After a week long stunt being Drowned Alive in a water bubble, Blaine emerged all wrinkly and unable to top off the spectacle.

And wrinkles? Far more than just falling asleep in the bath.

Summer time puts skin on the line

Nothing like working to the beat of the summer's sniper hot rays. Walking around with a sweat from global warming, tight clothes and a selection of pores gunning out the body's waste through the salt water.

Nothing except for a healthy dose of sun smarts in the ever going battle for skin protection.

For some, that's as easy as being unsociable. Staying indoors for as long as the humble and randy koala sleeps asleep in the trees. Doors and windows, down and closed, any hint of sunshine scaring them back down into the basement or into the closet without a sunroof.

But not everyone can live the luxurious life of a hermit. Others have to brave the world and face the faces of the people outside.

And for those, there's a whole range of systems in place. Sunscreen, dubious lotions with UV protection, and simple clothes and hats. For lovers of leather despite all weather, full body suits are even out there. Though they're usually made for indoor parties.

Careful on the zinc though. Wouldn't want to go overboard.

Apocalypse - Marvel Legends - Series 12 - The Apocalypse Series
Down in the dumps like an ever frowning Apocalypse? Then just get that plastic surgeon (or tattooist) to fix up the permanent make up and turn that clown upside down. Radioactive warning signs may occur.

For the rest, like the big bad Egyptian of X-Men lore, the world ages on and on. Unlike blue En Sabah Nur, not everyone has access to the regenerative powers and benefits of a personal sarcophagus.

Those looking to keep their skin and body in a relative state of springiness should keep in mind that the sun does the most in leathering that skin. Beating down with the harsh UV rays, the giant ball of fire up in the sky is free for the solar power nuts, and turns quite a nice profit for those in the skin care business.

Short of staying inside and underground until dusk, like the many vampires walking around with toothpicks, there are so many simple precautions. Long sleeves, sunscreen, walking in the shade and caking that make up are just some.

Goths always seem to have nice skin don't they? Do they collect higher premiums on the cannibal menu?
