One month remains until the Australians of all the states and territories brace again to ignore the US celebrated festivities to befall on Halloween. Brace now though, for the school holidays. The children! The children!

Spring has sprung and the weather's getting something done. Warm and balmy up for the summer season, the air is getting a little thicker with the crispness and a little lighter in the gloom. With all this in mind, there are a wandering few still walking in the winter mode.

• Crack the trap door - like the long johns of the wooly west, nothing beats ventilation like a hole out the back door. Also may come in handy with bowel movements


• Brad Pitt - for those too modest to walk around flapping in the winds, slit those pits and watch the treacle run down the sides.


• Install a cooling fan - good for computers, good for you. Just drop a small circular fan with it's own cage and feel the stale air just circulate endlessly.

Though why with a full body suit as opposed to body paint...
