Fathom: Kiani #1; written by Vince Hernandez, pencils by Marcus To, inks by Saleem Crawford
And to which it seems like the heat of the freezing months will soon be upon us after the end of Daylight Savings.
Caught out in the sun for that extra hour? Looks like not a bad idea now to have taken a drink of sunscreen. Now it just oozes out SPF 30+.
The threat of annihilation from the humans has subsided, leaving a trail of death and destruction in its wake. Now alone in solitude, the Elite Blue warrior Kiani struggles to come to grips with the shattered pieces of the war's aftermath, yet the profound truth she discovers will forever change her existence.
Continuing directly from the pages of Fathom Volume 2, Kiani's own series begins here, and the world of Fathom will never be the same again!
Fathom: Kiani #1 from Aspen MLT
First thing that quashes the mind is
Matt Huynh's alias in thinking of
Miscellaneous Adventures of Stykman. Certainly not the local, but a satirical take on the blooming muscle world of superheroes from Jonnie Allen. And yes, the thought does go big blue a little. That's a reference to The Tick by the way.
Virulents will see the terrorists turn into demons and vampires. Because they suck enough energy and blood from the world, let's get physical, the mind is swimming in sleeplessness. Shamik Dasgupta and Ruben are laying in the thick globules of terror.
Everybody takes a choke hold on the lasso with
Wonder Woman #6 pulling it tight. Novelist Jodi Picoult gets in the head of Diana Prince as Drew Johnson and Ray Snider cover the skin.
Bring on the hurt, bring on the pain, it's a family kind of affair in a different feel in
Fantastic Four #544. Dwayne McDuffie, Paul Pelletier and Rick Magyar check out the new swap of the F4 quad as Black Panther and Storm slip in where Reed and Sue have voided. Left that is.
For those who missed out on the first pick up with the hoopla, and the furore and the "oh-my-gourd! it's all sold out!" and all,
Captain America #25 is back again on the shelves. How soon is now, Smiths? Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting on point.
Once more, with feeling and it's
Buffy the Vampire Slayer again on the shelves for those who were napping during the day time with the rest of the vamps. Joss Whedon, Georges Jeanty and Andy Owens running in the stake pack.

Silent War #1; written by David Hine, art by Frazer Irving, cover by John Watson
Secret War, Civil War, Ultimate War, and now this, a Silent War. Where the most power man is the one who chooses not to speak for his voice will level cities like zoids and mutants in Power Rangers. And now he wants what's his back.
Say, if you do try and go without speaking, the first day might be a little tough. Second isn't that bad. Third is where it all returns to the mind games and whereabouts the escape is likely. Last longer than that and it'll be all in the head about thinking of the words that will break the silence.
Things you do to not to have to communicate with a bib.
SON OF M told how Quicksilver stole the precious Terrigen Mists from the Inhumans and how Black Bolt retaliated by declaring war on humanity.
Now that war is about to break loose as Gorgon leads a terrorist attack on New York. Old friends become deadly enemies when the Fantastic Four are forced to defend their city against the Inhumans.
Silent War #1 of 6 from Marvel Comics
Speaking of another war,
Civil War: The Return brings back the not so clear in the head Sentry in one half of a two halved one shot on the epic movement of the Marvel tableau.
It's like Little Miss Springfield time at DC as Tad Williams and Phil Winslade pass the mystical wand in
The Helmet of Fate: Ibis the Invincible. Where in this one shot to a series of shots, the person chosen will find a run in of trouble with The Helmet. If it's all there.
Dead rise again with more zombies and this time it's from the
Roadkill Zoo of Novaris Entertainment. That's right, forget the many zombie comics out there with humans looking for brains, the dead animals you see on the way down the coast claw back their revenge. Some people eat road kill. Just a tidbit there.
Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips continue the murk of crossing lines of morality in
Criminal #4 from ICON.
Garth Ennis continues leading
John Woo's 7 Brothers from Virgin Comics. Still on a journey where hope and salvation is the destiny that binds even strangers together.
Not a boot up from the scratch of the core, it's a strong spinning run still with
Sonic The Hedgehog #171 from Archie Comics. Ian Flynn, Tracy Yardley and Jim Amash work the scene where it is still Robotnik and Eggman hasn't gotten his yolk all over the canvas.
Bearer of new news, looks like Sara Pezzini moves on from the witchblade in
Witchblade #103 from Top Cow, Ron Marz and Adriana Melo. For every season turn, turn, turn.
