Black and White Shellie - Sin City action figure series 2 - NECA
Getting hotter by the sweat load? Want to quench your thirst but unable to move from that walk-in freezer you managed to sneak into? Bad luck, good luck, it's all the same. The heat is on and the clothes are falling off.
Autumn is creeping right around the corner with the tail end of summer bearing it's hot humidity. Comfort is out and school is back in.
There are many methods available for those looking to cool down. One such is purifying yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka. Other people get about topless, not entirely a grand look. Especially when most of these people don't tend to their own bodies. Sleeping in shopping malls might not be everyone, but it is for some.
Walk down the right back alley in
Sin City and find a man sweating? Not likely. Did anybody work up a sweat? Shellie (Brittany Murphy)? Did Marv (Mickey Rourke)? Was there even a hint of perspiration from Hartigan (Bruce Willis) while wailing into Yellow Bastard (Nick Stahl)?

Death Row Marv - Sin City electric chair deluxe action figure - NECA
Climbing up the charts like songs with cowbells and bonsai kittens left too long in the toaster oven, summer gets hotter and hotter.
With thanks in large to global warming, there appears no escaping the sweltering sweat of summer's breast. The hottest place outside the sun and poor shade would be in Marv's seat. Electrifying no doubt, but at least the burn is all over and done with a flash. And not just on the skin without driving in.
For a warmer taste of the action and a smell of the bacon, take a few moments to increase the voltage.
Beat it blue - Wear all black all day long and enjoy the roast. Gym memberships can't ever be as cheap as insanity.
Warm is hot and hot is scorchin' - Find metal made street furniture and rest a while. A few seconds on torched metal is quicker than minutes on frying wood.
Burn it like a hermit - close the doors, switch off the fans and air conditioning and do some menial tasks. Pretty soon, you too can be all exhausted and the next on the news for heat stroke.
"That all you got, Global Warming?"

Thor: Blood Oath #1 (of 6); written by Mike Oeming, pencils by Scott Kolins, inks by Wil Quintana
As dead as the twitching body of Hawkeye in the
House of M, Thor makes a flashback appearance. Technically not the same one that died not too long ago, it's an appearance in the breaking until the thunder god -- no, not
Mortal Kombat's Raiden -- returns in 2006...
Following the wrap-up on Marvel's legendary Mighty Thor series, Oeming and Kolins travel back in Marvel history to bring you a classic Thor adventure!
Stepping out of the past of the glorious days of Kirby, Lee, and Buscema, Thor: Blood Oath presents Thor in his prime, with your favorite cast, including Odin, Balder, The Warriors Three and more!
What better time than in this current climate to begin with the home renovations? New Orleans is ravaged by the floods, the twin towers are still down from 9/11 and synagogues are falling every day down at the Gaza Strip.
It's DIY madness!
Nothing better than Thor's mystical hammer,
Mjolnir to do some serious damage and make light work of that stubborn foundation wall.
